Bette has been involved in music since the age of five. She has had many years of training in both classical and contemporary music, as well as in music theory. She worked for the Peabody school system for ten years in the choral department, and accompanied many musical productions. Bette earned a Master Teacher's certification in Music and Liturgy, and has been a vital part of worship at St. Maria Goretti for over twenty years.

"I came to St. Maria's Parish twenty-two years ago and have been inspired by ministering through music and by the wonderful people here. Although I don't live in Lynnfield, I became a member of St. Maria's five years ago, after my husband died."
