The Offertory Awareness Program (OAP) is a simple way to fund the activities of St. Maria Goretti Parish.  You pray and choose the level of support you can to give to your parish this year and then decide how you want to make your gift to the Lord.  You can spread your support over a weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis in a manner that best suits your situation.  This helps us anticipate funding sources to effectively budget for expenses.  OAP is one way to express your gratitude to God for being part of the Body of Christ gathered at St. Maria Goretti parish.
Now you can safely participate in OAP online through ParishPay using your credit card, debit card or EFT (electronic fund transfer from a savings or checking account).  ParishPay is a nationally respected company that specializes in electronic payment programs for churches.

How does ParishPay work? OAP participants enroll directly with ParishPay using their secure website. If you already use ParishPay, log in using your user current user name and password. 

You will be asked if you would like to have your donation withdrawn from your checking/savings account or as a charge to your credit card. You will then be asked to provide the appropriate account number. ParishPay will email you a reminder of your donation five days before the deduction takes place. ParishPay can be used exclusively for annual, semi-annual, monthly and quarterly participation in OAP.

The parish pays $1 per month per enrollee in addition to 1% of the gift processed at any one time. This is the total cost if you have designated your donation as a debit from your checking account.

However if you choose to use your credit card then the credit card company will charge the parish an additional fee of 2 – 3%, further reducing your donation. Obviously, we would prefer you elect to use your bank debit card rather than a credit card. While you may be concerned about providing bank account information, this same information is readily shown on every check you write.
